<p class="Paragraph">You can use drag and drop to copy a query from <help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname>, but you can just as easily do the same with a table from a <help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> Writer or HTML document or a marked part of this, or a cell range from a <help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> Calc spreadsheet.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">To modify the query, use drag and drop. You can:</p>

<p class="P2">create a query copy,</p>
</li>

<p class="P2">take over the data from the query into another query,</p>
</li>

<p class="P2">use the structure of the table as the basis for creating a new table.</p>

<p class="Paragraph">It makes no difference for these actions whether the exchange is to take place within the same database or between different databases. Select the query and drag it into the table container of the desired database.</p>
